Short answer

When should an exhibition stand be photographed?

Two separate shoots are needed. The first is the empty stand, taken the morning after the build finishes and before doors open, when the stand is clean, the aisle is clear and the architecture reads. The second is the busy shoot, taken around midday on the busiest day, showing the stand at work. Neither replaces the other: empty frames go into references and proposals, while busy frames go into publicity and social media. In both cases, shoot from all four corners and at eye level.
