Does your own crew do the build?

Yes. The team that draws the stand, produces it and builds it in the hall is the same team; our own crew travels to fairs abroad as well. Throughout the fair a named contact with a phone number is in the hall or at the end of the line.

How soon does the quote arrive, and what is in it?

Within 48 hours on business days. The quote comes with the 3D visual, the dimensioned drawing and an itemised scope: design, production, graphics, freight, build, dismantling. Which items are included is written down; there is no “etc.”.

How far ahead of the fair should I get in touch?

Six weeks for a domestic fair and eight for one abroad make a comfortable schedule. We work to shorter timelines too, but the system choice narrows: modular and maxima go up quickly, while custom timber needs a longer production time.

Why do prices differ so much between exhibition stand companies?

The difference is usually in scope, not quality. One firm folds freight and installation into the square metre rate and looks expensive; another leaves them out and looks cheap. When comparing quotes, make sure they cover the same items; in ours every item is written separately.

Can I visit your workshop?

Yes, by appointment. Our workshop is in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul, fifteen minutes from Tüyap. You can see the stands in production and the materials on site; for clients abroad we also do video walkthroughs.

Akros Mimarlık is an exhibition stand company that keeps all three stages of the job in house: the stand is drawn in our design office, produced in our workshop in Beylikdüzü, and built and dismantled in the hall by our own crew. We are not a broker; the team that draws the stand, produces it and hands it over in the hall is the same team.

How we work

Five steps from quote request to dismantling

From the quote request to dismantling the work stays with one team; at each of the five steps it is clear who does what.

Brief and survey.
We start with the fair, the date, the plot size and the number of open sides. We ask for the hall plan and the organiser’s regulations on day one; the height limit and the rigging rules shape the design from the start.

Design and quote.
With the 3D visual and the dimensioned drawing comes a quote whose scope is written item by item: design, production, graphics, freight, build, dismantling. Within 48 hours on business days. The items are explained on the cost page .

Production.
The approved drawing goes to the workshop. Timber stands are fully assembled and checked in Beylikdüzü, maxima profiles are cut to size, graphics go to print. For fairs abroad production closes well before the fair date.

Freight and organiser paperwork.
Height permits, electrical drawings and fire certificates are handled by us with the organiser. Abroad, customs and the ATA Carnet sit in the same contract; the process is described on the exhibition logistics page .

Build, handover and dismantling.
Our own crew enters the hall; the stand is handed over at least a day before opening with power and screens working. A named contact with a phone number is available throughout the fair; dismantling is done by the same crew.

Which system, which schedule

Which system suits you is decided together, by looking at your fair calendar, your budget and how many sides of the stand are open. Custom timber gives a brand its own form and texture; the maxima system goes up in three days with printed panels and an LED facade on aluminium profiles; modular and portable solutions step in on short schedules. For fairs abroad the calendar is the critical variable: customs lead times differ many times over between Europe and overseas, and a delay cannot be recovered. That is why we plan backwards from the fair date and close production well ahead.

Which industries we have built for

The work of an exhibition stand company changes with the industry: at a machinery fair the floor load of heavy product and forklift access decide the design, at a food fair the tasting counter and hygiene, at a textile fair fabric display and lighting. Where we have built

In Türkiye most of our work is in Istanbul; the same crew goes from the same workshop to fairs in Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Antalya, Konya and Gaziantep. Abroad our busiest market is Germany: we have built at fairs in Düsseldorf, Hanover, Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich and Nuremberg. The United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Italy, France, Russia and the United States are the other countries we have worked in.

For fairs abroad the stand is produced in Istanbul, fully assembled and checked in the workshop and then shipped; freight, customs and the ATA Carnet sit in one contract with us. The build is again done by our own crew. All city and country pages are on the locations page.

What to look at when choosing a company
