What changes in the plan from one city to another
At Istanbul fairs our workshop is close to the halls, so freight goes in one vehicle on the same day and a missing part arrives within hours. For cities such as Ankara, Izmir and Bursa we send the vehicle a day ahead and schedule the crew against the hall opening hour.
For fairs abroad the plan adds the ATA Carnet, customs and local supply items: the power connection, floor covering and waste fee come from the organiser and are written as separate lines in the quote. At German fairs our Aachen office receives the freight on site; for distant cities such as Dubai and Atlanta the freight leaves weeks before the fair. Each city page sets out that hall’s rules and the work we have done there.
