Exhibition stand examples: lessons from six builds

Short answer
Where to look at exhibition stand examples?
When looking at exhibition stand examples, check three things: is the photograph from the fair hall or a render, are the fair, year and square metres stated, and is the plot and product similar to yours. Renders are pretty but do not show a built stand; a photograph from the hall shows how light and size really look. On our project pages every entry states the fair, year, city, floor area and type; in this article we picked six and explain which decision worked in each.
Three examples on small plots
Evafone, 2026, Istanbul, 12 sqm maxima. One product, one message. Printed panels on an aluminium profile frame, a single showcase at eye level, a high table for standing conversations. Built in a day. Lesson: on a small plot fewer products mean more conversations.
Karadağ İplik, 2025, Istanbul, row plot. At a textile fair the yarn samples were lined along the wall in colour order; visitors saw the colour and stopped. Lesson: the sector’s product is the graphic itself, no extra image needed.
Yeniler Etiket, Avrasya Ambalaj 2025, Istanbul. Label samples hung in front of a lit panel; print quality read through the light. Lesson: if the product needs light, the stand starts with light. What can be done on a small plot is written by size on the stand types page.
Three examples abroad
Er Bakır, Interwire 2025, Atlanta. At a wire and cable fair, heavy reels loaded the floor; the hall floor and steel shelving were used instead of a raised platform. Because the US module is 10 feet, every part was cut to foot dimensions. Lesson: abroad, the module and the floor load are read before the design.
IBA Kimya, PaintExpo 2024, Karlsruhe. At a coatings fair the graphic surfaces were produced with calibrated print for colour accuracy and sample colour cards were presented at eye level. Lesson: if the sector sells colour, there is no saving on print.
Eksen Al, Aluminium 2025, Düsseldorf. At an aluminium fair the product became the material: profile samples turned into the frame of the stand. Lesson: turning the product into the structure is the strongest display. The process abroad is described on our exhibition stand services page.
Questions to ask when looking at an example
Was the photograph taken in the hall? A render flatters light and size; a hall photograph shows the truth. Are the fair, year and square metres stated? If not, the project cannot be verified. Is the plot like yours? The decisions of a 100 square metre island do not transfer to a 12 square metre row stand.
Is the product like yours? Floor and forklift decisions from a machinery fair mean nothing at a food fair. Is it the company’s own work? Showing other firms’ work on a reference page happens in this sector; the fair name and year are the quickest way to tell.
On our own project pages every entry answers these questions: fair, year, city, floor area, type and a photograph from the hall. You can explore the examples from our design page and the projects page.
Can I have an example stand built exactly?
Its layout yes, its look no; every stand is drawn for the client’s brand and plot. Add the example you like to the brief and we discuss which of its decisions you want.
Is there a difference between the render and the photo?
Small differences in light and material texture; size and layout are the same. On every project we publish the render and the hall photograph side by side.
Are there examples for my sector?
Our industry pages list projects by sector: machinery, packaging, textiles, aluminium, energy, food and others. If your sector is not listed we show the closest one.
