Building a colour and material palette

Interior layout visualisation: the two meeting areas, the brand wall in the centre and the video wall on the front elevation.

Short answer

How many colours and materials should a stand use?

A stand palette runs on three colours: a neutral dominant tone across the large surfaces, a secondary tone supporting it, and an accent used sparingly. Materials should not exceed three either, usually a timber or timber-look surface, a painted or laminate surface, and a metal or glass detail. The product’s own colour sits against the palette rather than inside it; the palette exists to push the product forward.
