How much printed material should you take to a fair?

The number of printed catalogues follows the number of qualified conversations you expect, not the footfall in the aisle. A thick catalogue does not survive a visitor’s bag and usually gets left in the hall. Build it in two layers instead: one reference copy that stays on the stand, a thin summary handed over at the end of a meeting, and a digital file behind a link. Samples are not handed over at all but posted to an address, which both solves the carrying and creates a reason to follow up.
