Safety and display at chemical fairs

General view of the stand from the aisle: white body, niches clad with product graphics, and the timber vaulted ceiling of the Messe Karlsruhe hall.

Short answer

How is product displayed at a chemical fair?

Not in open containers but through sealed samples and applied results. Most venues prohibit open chemicals on a stand, so liquids and powders are shown in sealed transparent vessels or scaled-down versions of the real packaging. The real exhibit is not the product but its result: a coated panel, a treated surface, a finished fabric. Ventilation and odour are a question of neighbours here. Safety data sheets stay on the stand; they are the first documents a visitor asks for.
