Short answer

Why are builds different at large-hall fairs?

In large halls the stands get bigger, the exhibits get heavier and the build stops being one crew’s job. The difference shows in three places: in sequence, because a heavy exhibit goes into position before the stand is built and cannot be brought into a finished structure; in equipment, because forklift and crane services come from the approved supplier at most venues and are planned by the hour; and in simultaneity, because with dozens of stands going up in one hall, aisle use and vehicle access run on allocated slots.
