How does the stand get to France, and what is needed at customs?

By road, with an ATA Carnet. The carnet is the temporary export document for the stand; it is stamped on the way out and on the way in, and the stand returns on the same carnet after the fair. We handle the documents and the customs follow-up; you supply the list and weight of the exhibits.

Who follows the hall regulations in Paris?

We do. The technical file covering height, rigging, fire class and the electrical order is prepared in the organiser’s format, and production does not start until the approval is in. We take the hall’s build days and hours from the technical file and plan the programme around them.

Who builds the stand?

The Beylikdüzü crew that produced the stand travels to Paris and builds and dismantles it. We do not hand work to local subcontractors; our German jobs run on the same basis.

When should we start?

For France a comfortable schedule starts 8 weeks before the fair: design approval and technical file at 6 weeks, production at 4 weeks, trial assembly and the lorry at 1 week. Taking a stand to a fair in Paris is the arrangement we run for Germany moved one lorry day further: production in the workshop, road freight, an ATA Carnet, our own crew in the hall. We have built in 10 countries and sold the same thing every time: one contact who draws, produces and builds the stand. What we do at fairs in France

We draw the stand, produce it in our workshop, load it onto the lorry, build it in Paris and take it down when the fair closes. The technical correspondence with the organiser, the height and structural approval, the electrical order, the graphics and print are our job. French-language copy comes from you and goes to print as supplied; the hall correspondence is run in the language and format the organiser asks for.

Freight, customs and local support

Shipment to Paris goes by road on a single lorry. We issue the ATA Carnet for temporary export, follow the exit from Turkey and the entry into France, and the stand returns on the same carnet after the fair. During build week our crew is in the hall, so a missing part, an extra rigging point or a power question has someone on the spot. Which stand type

The maxima system, compact on the lorry and built in 1–3 days, is our first suggestion for a long road run; 12–200 square metres. For companies that want uninterrupted surfaces, free dimensions and brand-specific detail we build custom timber, 2–5 build days. If the plot is open on two or three sides we also draw an island or corner layout and show it side by side; you decide with the shipping difference in front of you.
