Exhibition stand builders in Cologne

The Cemer Kent Ekipmanları stand: a spherical climbing unit set on sand, a world-map brand wall behind it and meeting tables in front.

A company that comes to us for a stand in Cologne is working in a fair city close to our Aachen office. At Koelnmesse we built a 28 square metre timber stand for Doqu Home at imm cologne 2023 and a 105 square metre timber stand for Cemer Kent Ekipmanları at FSB Cologne; both were produced in our Beylikdüzü workshop, trucked to Cologne and built and dismantled by our own crew. For furniture and playground equipment, where the product itself is the exhibit, we recommend a timber build: the product becomes part of the stand.

What we do at Cologne fairs

Koelnmesse has 11 halls and 284,000 square metres. The calendar here runs ORGATEC 27–30 October 2026, imm cologne 19–22 January 2027, Anuga FoodTec 23–26 February 2027, interzum 11–14 May 2027, Anuga 9–13 October 2027 and FSB Cologne 26–29 October 2027. Furniture, office furniture, furniture fittings, food and sports facility companies all get the same workflow: we design the stand, submit a three-dimensional visual for approval, produce it in the workshop, trial-assemble it, hand it to freight and build it in the hall.

In furniture and playground equipment jobs the product is the exhibit; we keep the walls and floor to a plain surface that lets the product stand out and point the lighting at it. For heavy equipment the floor load and the assembly sequence are planned against Koelnmesse's technical file. Freight, customs and local support

We arrange the road freight, the export paperwork and the ATA Carnet where needed, each as a separate line in the quote. Koelnmesse's vehicle access and build hours come with the organiser's file; we follow the file and obtain the technical approval. Our Aachen office provides support on the German side during build and fair week. Your products can travel on the same truck as the stand; the details are on the exhibition logistics page.

Exhibitors from outside Turkey are welcome on the same route: the stand is produced in Istanbul, freight and paperwork are ours, and you deal with one contact in English from the first drawing to the dismantling.

Which stand type for Cologne

  • Custom timber build: 20–500 square metres, 2–5 days to build. Both of our Cologne stands are this type; for furniture and equipment on show we want an uninterrupted surface.
  • Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, 1–3 days to build. For tight calendars and the smaller plots at the food fairs.

Do you build at the fair venues in Cologne?
Yes: Koelnmesse. Hall rules vary by fair; we submit the technical file to the organiser.
When should a stand for Cologne be ordered?
At least eight weeks before the fair for a custom timber stand, four weeks for a maxima system stand; for builds abroad we add a week for freight and customs.
What determines the price?

Do you place our furniture on the stand?
Yes. Your products travel on the same truck as the stand and, once the build is finished, we position them where the plan shows. If you do not like a position during the handover walk, we move it that day.
When should we start for Cologne?
For a timber stand, 8 weeks before the fair: design approval at 6 weeks, workshop production at 4 weeks, trial assembly and shipping at 1 week. For imm cologne in January, starting in November gives a comfortable schedule.
Who deals with a problem at customs?
We do. The stand's paperwork is prepared by us; the invoice and packing list for your products are prepared together with you. On the German side our Aachen office provides support.
How will we know the hall rules?
You do not need to. Koelnmesse's height limit, rigging rule, electrical and fire requirements are in the technical file; we read the file, draw the stand to match and obtain the approval. All you need to put into the quote form is the fair name and your floor area.
