What we do at Izmir fairs

The fair name, dates, floor area and number of open sides come in; within 48 hours we send the first concept as a three-dimensional visual, free of charge. After approval we submit the technical file to the organiser, handle graphics and print and draw the electrical and lighting plan. The hall's height limit, rigging rule and build hours arrive with the organiser's file; we read the file and draw the stand to match.

To date we have delivered close to 400 projects and built more than 25,000 square metres, all on the projects page with photographs. Exhibitors from outside Turkey get the same service in Izmir: one contract, one contact in English, our crew in the hall for the build and the dismantling.

Freight from Istanbul and the build schedule

A comfortable programme starts 8 weeks before the fair: design approval and technical file at 6 weeks, workshop production and print files at 4 weeks, trial assembly and shipping at 1 week. The freight day goes into the schedule, and the build crew is in Izmir on the same day as the truck. When the fair closes we dismantle the stand and take it back. Which stand type for Izmir

• Custom timber build: 20–500 square metres, 2–5 days to build in the hall. For heavy products and an uninterrupted surface; the freight volume is larger, so we start 8 weeks ahead.
• Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, 1–3 days to build. Small freight volume over a long road; our first suggestion when the calendar is tight.
• Modular stand: 9–150 square metres, 1–2 days to build; for small plots and short fairs.

Fuar İzmir and the İzmir fair year

İzmir is Türkiye's second largest fair city: in TOBB's 2026 fair calendar it follows Istanbul's 155 fairs with 25 of its own. The centre is Fuar İzmir in Gaziemir, a few minutes from the airport; the halls are single-storey with wide doors, and truck access and ramp layout are easier than at the Istanbul venues.

The Ministry of Trade's domestic support list dated 30 September 2026 holds five İzmir fairs: İF Wedding Fashion İzmir (20–22 January 2026), Agroexpo (3–7 February), MARBLE, the international natural stone and technologies fair (14–17 April), Gurme İzmir–Olivtech (30 April–2 May) and Future Fish Eurasia (24–26 September). Exporters' association members exhibiting at these fairs can recover part of the space rental and stand expense; the conditions are in state support for domestic fairs.

The 2027 edition dates are fixed as the organiser and the TOBB calendar publish them; MARBLE and Agroexpo are held in the same months every year. We keep the dated list current on our İzmir page.

From Istanbul to İzmir: production and build calendar

We produce the stand in our workshop in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul; timber stands are fully assembled and checked in the workshop, then dismantled and shipped, while on system stands profiles are cut to size and numbered. For İzmir the vehicle leaves the day before build-up and the crew is at Fuar İzmir on build morning. A missing or damaged part cannot be replaced the same day as in Istanbul, so on İzmir projects spare parts and spare graphics travel in the vehicle.

We build the calendar backwards: the design freezes six weeks before the fair, production starts four weeks before, the stand is checked in the workshop a week before. At fairs with heavy exhibits such as MARBLE, floor load and forklift path enter the drawing from the first day; for natural stone blocks the organiser's floor capacity figure is obtained. The build window at Fuar İzmir usually opens two days before opening; we submit the organiser's stand approval drawing, the electrical load declaration and the engineer's approval where needed. The general framework of the rules is in venue rules and stand approval.

Which stand type for an İzmir fair

We take three types to İzmir. The system stand (maxima profile) builds in a day on plots of 12–36 square metres and travels to İzmir in a single vehicle; it is the most frequently chosen type at high-exhibitor fairs such as Agroexpo and Olivtech. The modular stand suits panel and lightbox layouts. Custom timber is preferred for corner and island plots at fairs like MARBLE where brand differentiation matters; part size is set by the vehicle.
