Taking a stand to a fair in London differs from Germany in one respect: the United Kingdom sits outside the EU customs territory, so the stand passes a second customs point when it crosses the Channel. We plan with that in mind. The rest is the arrangement we are used to: production and trial assembly in Beylikdüzü, a lorry, an ATA Carnet, our own crew in the hall. We have built in 10 countries and take on UK work with the same contract structure.
We draw the stand, produce it in our workshop, load it onto the lorry, build it in London and take it down when the fair closes. The technical correspondence with the organiser, the height and structural approval, the electrical order, the graphics and print are our job. Documents UK organisers commonly ask for, such as a method statement and a risk assessment, are prepared in the organiser’s format, and production does not start until the approval is in.
There is no published UK project on this page yet; our European arrangement is shown by the German jobs. In Cologne, a 105 square metre timber stand for Cemer Kent Ekipmanları at FSB; in Hanover, a 182 square metre maxima stand for Emintosun at LIGNA 2025; in Karlsruhe, a 100 square metre timber stand for İBA Kimya at PaintExpo 2024. All three left Beylikdüzü by lorry and were built by our crew; a stand for London goes the same way with one extra customs stop. The Germany page describes the arrangement in detail.
Shipment to London goes by road on a single lorry, crossing the Channel by ferry or tunnel. We issue the ATA Carnet for temporary export, follow the exit from Turkey, the transit through Europe and the entry into the UK, and the stand returns on the same carnet after the fair. During build week our crew is in the hall, so a missing part, an extra rigging point or a power question has someone on the spot. The process is on the exhibition logistics page and the wider picture on the international exhibition stand page.
The maxima system, compact on the lorry and built in 1–3 days, is our first suggestion for a long road run; 12–200 square metres. For companies that want uninterrupted surfaces and free dimensions we build custom timber, 2–5 build days. If the plot is open on two or three sides we also draw an island or corner layout for the same plot and show it side by side.
Brief, floor plan and three-dimensional design visual
Design approval, technical file submitted to the organiser
Production in the workshop; graphics and print files
Trial assembly in the workshop, freight, ATA Carnet and customs
Hall build, handover the day before opening, dismantling at close
Our quote lists the scope item by item; we take a brief before quoting, because two stands of the same size can differ a lot.
For installations abroad, freight, ATA Carnet and customs are handled by Akros; the stand is produced in the Istanbul workshop and shipped to the hall.
We produce all of them in our own workshop. The size range and on-site build time come from our recorded projects; if you are undecided we draw two types for the same floor area and show them side by side.
Purpose-built timber stand produced from scratch for each show.
Aluminium profile frame with clad panels; fast to install.
Component system built from aluminium profiles and panels; quick build and a small shipping volume.
Meeting space on the upper level; two floors on the same footprint.
Open on all four sides; approachable from every direction.
Shared area for many exhibitors with individual booths and one welcome desk.
We have not published a project under this heading yet; these three stands from other fairs show the work of our workshop.
