Taking a stand to a fair in the United States is a different job from taking one to Europe: a container or an aircraft instead of a lorry, a long shipping calendar instead of a short one, and halls that work to their own rules. The 54 square metre custom timber stand we built for Er Bakır at Interwire 2025 in Atlanta was delivered on exactly that basis: produced in Beylikdüzü, trial-assembled in Istanbul, built at the Georgia World Congress Center by our own crew.
Design, production, shipping, customs, build and dismantling sit in one contract. We handle the technical file with the hall management; in American halls the loading, electrical and some assembly steps follow the venue’s own rules, so we read who does what from the organiser’s manual and plan the programme around it. Graphics and print are prepared in Istanbul, and where the hall asks for imperial dimensions the files are supplied that way.
There are two fairs we work at. Interwire at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta next runs on 4–6 May 2027; for companies in wire, cable and copper the Er Bakır stand (or booth, as the organiser calls it) is a ready reference. SHOT Show at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas runs on 19–22 January 2027; our stands for Ağaoğlu Silah at IWA 2025 in Nuremberg and for Yazıcılarav at Prohunt 2025 in Istanbul are on the firearms industry page.
Two routes to the United States: sea freight in a container, or air freight. The calendar decides which; with sea freight we pull production weeks forward, with air freight we pack as tightly as we would for a lorry. We issue the ATA Carnet for temporary import and follow customs on both sides; the stand returns on the same carnet after the fair. Our own crew builds the stand, and for the steps the venue reserves for local labour we coordinate with the team the organiser designates. The process is on the exhibition logistics page and the wider picture on the international exhibition stand page.
The Atlanta stand was a custom timber build: uninterrupted surfaces, free dimensions, 2–5 build days. Because volume affects the cost of a long shipment, the maxima system is a serious option too: 12–200 square metres, compact in a container, built in 1–3 days. We draw both types for the same plot and show them with the shipping difference alongside.
Dates come from the organisers’ official sites; past fairs drop off the list. The link on each row opens a quote form with the fair name and dates filled in.
