Cosmetics trade fair stands

On a cosmetics stand the product is small and the whole job comes down to the light on the shelf. We build the stand to the scale of the product: a light for every shelf, a white ground that does not distort the packaging colour, a tester counter where visitors try the product, a mirror, and a sink connection for washing hands. Your brand colour goes large on the wall; the product stays sharp on the shelf.

What we do for you at cosmetics fairs

We draw the stand, produce it in our own workshop in Beylikdüzü, build it in the hall with our own crew and dismantle it when the fair closes. Shelving, the tester counter and the mirror wall are made in the workshop; the water and power application goes to the hall management from us. Graphics, print and the technical file are ours. For fairs abroad we run the stand freight, the ATA Carnet and customs; your product arrives on its own export papers and goes onto the shelves on build-up day.

We have seen the same mistake on many cosmetics stands: a good shelf, a lamp in the ceiling, the product in shadow. We put the light under the shelf and the label becomes readable. For fragrance and skincare the tester area sits near the aisle with the product wall behind; for hair care a mirror wall and a chair go into the plan. Product photography is printed large, and we check the print proof against the actual packaging so the two come out in the same tone.

Which cosmetics fairs we work at

The beauty and cosmetics fairs in Istanbul are at CNR Expo and Tüyap; both venues are described on our Istanbul page. For brands opening up the Middle East we ship the stand to fairs in Dubai and clear it ourselves; at German fairs our Aachen office gives local support. See also our packaging and chemicals pages.

Which stand type for a cosmetics stand

  • Custom timber build: 20–500 square metres, built in 2–5 days. Recessed shelving, lit niches, a tester counter that is one piece with the worktop, and a closed meeting room.
  • Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, built in 1–3 days. Product imagery printed large on the panels; shelving produced separately and fixed to the grid.
  • Portable stand: 4–20 square metres, built in 1 day. A counter, shelving and a back wall for a small plot or a young brand.

How we work

Fair name, dates, floor area and number of open sides; within 48 hours you get a free first concept in three dimensions and a written budget in three options, scope itemised. Start 8 weeks before the fair: design approval and technical file at 6 weeks, workshop production and print at 4, trial assembly and lighting test at 1. Bring a few products to the lighting test; that is where we see how they sit on the shelf. The quote form is here.

Our stand types: size and on-site build time

We produce all of them in our own workshop. The size range and on-site build time come from our recorded projects; if you are undecided we draw two types for the same floor area and show them side by side.

Frequently asked

What do you do so that small products show on the shelf?
The light goes under the shelf rather than in the ceiling, so every shelf is lit on its own and the label can be read. Shelf depth is drawn to the packaging size.
Can you build a tester counter and a sink?
Yes. The tester counter has a wipe-clean surface, and the mirror and the sink connection for washing hands are applied for with the hall management together with the technical file. In a hall without a water connection we fit a sink with a closed tank.
Who takes the stand to a fair abroad?
We do. The stand goes through a trial assembly in the workshop and is then shipped; we open the ATA Carnet and clear customs, and our crew is in the hall for build-up week. Your products travel separately on their own export papers.
When should we start?
For a custom timber build, 8 weeks before the fair; for a maxima system, 4 weeks; a portable stand needs less. Fairs abroad add transit time, so start early; if a job comes in late we first tell you what can still be done.
