Dished Heads trade fair stands

General view of the Genç Bombe stand at the fair 2025 in Hanover: a 36 sqm maxima system build.

A dished head stand has few products, and they are heavy and large in diameter. A single head enters the hall on a forklift, is set down once and stays there for the whole fair. We draw the stand around that piece: a steel plinth underneath that spreads the load, a wall behind that shows the product in section, and a readable surface beside it for the wall thickness and diameter table. Buyers want to check the weld edge and the surface finish with their hands, so the product sits at eye level with three sides open.

What we do for you at dished head fairs

We draw the stand, produce it in our own workshop in Beylikdüzü, build it in the hall with our own crew and take it down when the fair closes. Product delivery is written into the first hour of the build schedule; the product weight and the entry slot go into the technical file, and we do the correspondence with the hall management. Graphics and print, lighting and meeting furniture are ours. For German fairs the stand and your product leave Beylikdüzü together; freight, ATA Carnet and customs are our job, and our Aachen office gives local support on the German side.

A spotlight on polished steel reads as a stain. We light the product by bouncing off the wall behind it instead of from above, so the surface reads smooth and in one colour. Smaller heads go onto a separate section wall.

Which fairs we work at

The main meeting of the sector is HANNOVER MESSE at Deutsche Messe Hanover. In 2025 we built the 36 square metre maxima stand for Genç Bombe there. At the same fair in 2022 we built the 35 square metre maxima stand for Tekno Vals; both were maxima stands at the same venue. Dished head producers also exhibit at wire & Tube Düsseldorf, 3–7 April 2028; our work at that fair is on the pipes and tubes page.

Which stand type for a dished head stand

  • Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, 1–3 days to build in the hall. Both the Genç Bombe and the Tekno Vals stands were maxima; the aluminium grid closes quickly around the product and the plinth is made separately in steel.
  • Custom timber build: 20–500 square metres, 2–5 days. When you bring several large-diameter products and want uninterrupted surfaces.
  • Island and corner stands: 36–800 square metres, 3–6 days. To place the product in the centre and make it approachable from all four sides.

How we work

Send the fair name and dates, your floor area, the number of open sides and the diameter and weight of the largest product you will bring; we reply within 48 hours. The first concept is free and comes as a three-dimensional visual; the written budget has three options, listed item by item. Starting 8 weeks before the fair gives design approval and the technical file at 6 weeks, workshop production at 4 weeks, trial assembly and dispatch at 1 week. The quote form opens here.

Our stand types: size and on-site build time

We produce all of them in our own workshop. The size range and on-site build time come from our recorded projects; if you are undecided we draw two types for the same floor area and show them side by side.

Frequently asked

Can you bring a one-tonne head inside the stand?
Yes. Give us the weight and diameter at the quote stage and we draw the steel plinth accordingly and pass the floor load to the hall through the technical file. The product goes in by forklift on day one and the stand closes around it afterwards.
Who takes the product to Hanover?
We do. The stand and your product leave Beylikdüzü in the same vehicle, and the ATA Carnet and customs paperwork are ours. We plan the return load after dismantling as well.
Can we show a weld or a cut section on the product?
The section sample goes onto its own wall, with a printed backdrop carrying dimension lines if needed. Live welding on a stand depends on hall rules; we ask the hall management in writing through the technical file about what is possible.
How long does the build take and when do we arrive?
A maxima system takes 1–3 days to build in the hall. You come for the handover walk the day before opening, with the product in place, the lights on and the graphics fitted.
