Construction trade fair stands

General view of the Gms stand at the fair 2025 in Münih: a 153 sqm maxima system build.

At a construction fair the product is large, heavy and often outside the hall. At fairs like bauma we build outdoor stands as well: a platform on the concrete, a surface that takes the weather, a closed volume for meetings next to the machine. Indoors, the forklift access, floor load and service clearance for heavy equipment are the first things on the plan; the walls come afterwards. Buyers want to climb onto the machine and sit in the cab, so we keep the stand open for that.

What we do for you at construction fairs

We draw the stand, produce it in our own workshop in Beylikdüzü, build it in the hall with our own crew and take it down when the fair closes. The equipment’s entry into the hall or the outdoor area, its weight and the power need go into the technical file; the correspondence with the hall management is ours. Graphics and print, lighting and furniture come with the stand. At German fairs the freight, ATA Carnet and customs are our job, and our Aachen office gives local support on the German side.

On a large plot visitors get lost inside the stand. We put the reception point in the corner nearest the aisle, the meeting rooms at the back and the product in the middle, and draw the logo high enough to be seen over the machine. Spare parts and small equipment get a separate display wall.

Which construction fairs we work at

The largest fair of the sector is bauma, next on 3–9 April 2028 at Messe München. In 2025 we built the 153 square metre maxima stand for GMS there; our other work in the city is on the Munich page. In 2024 we built the 25 square metre maxima stand for Saes at wire & Tube Düsseldorf. In Turkey we work at Yapı – Turkeybuild Istanbul at Tüyap, and in Dubai at Big 5 Global. Our work on the building materials side is on the building and construction machinery pages.

Which stand type for a construction stand

  • Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, 1–3 days to build in the hall. The GMS and Saes stands were both this system; it closes quickly around the equipment and, on a large plot, leaves the build day to the machine.
  • Island and corner stands: 36–800 square metres, 3–6 days. The machine in the centre, approachable from all four sides; our first choice on the large plots at bauma.
  • Double-decker stand: 60–600 square metres, 4–8 days. Equipment below, meeting rooms above and a terrace looking over the fairground.

How we work

Send the fair name and dates, your floor area, the number of open sides and the dimensions and weights of the equipment you will bring; we reply within 48 hours. The first concept is free and three-dimensional; the written budget frame has three options with the scope listed item by item. For large fairs like bauma we start 8 weeks ahead: design approval and technical file at 6 weeks, workshop production at 4 weeks, trial assembly and dispatch at 1 week. The quote form is here.

Frequently asked

Do you build outdoor stands?
Yes. For an outdoor plot at bauma we draw a platform on the concrete, a surface that takes rain and a closed meeting volume; we ask the hall management for the anchoring permit through the technical file.
Who brings the machine into the stand?
We settle the entry slot with the hall through the technical file and position the machine on the first build day; the machine's own freight is written into the same programme. The stand closes around it from day two.
Can visitors climb onto the machine?
We keep the stand open for it; if steps and a guard rail are needed around the machine we produce them as part of the platform. Supervision of use stays with your team.
Who handles freight and customs for Munich?
We do. The stand leaves Beylikdüzü, we run the ATA Carnet and customs paperwork, and our Aachen office supports on the German side. The sequence is on the international exhibition stand page.
