Footwear trade fair stands

A buyer on a footwear stand wants to take in the collection at a glance, then sit down and handle the model. We build the stand like a shop: a lit wall that shows the collection in size and colour order, a mirror and fitting seat in front of it, and a closed table at the back where the order is written. Leather and fabric colours have to read true, so the shelf lighting is chosen close to daylight; under warm light a collection looks like a different collection.

What we do for you at footwear fairs

We draw the stand, produce it in our own workshop in Beylikdüzü, build it with our own crew and take it down afterwards. Graphics and print are ours; so are the technical file for the hall management, the electricity application and, for fairs abroad, the freight, ATA Carnet and customs. You bring the collection and your sales team; we walk the stand together the day before opening.

The stand's job is to carry the collection. Shelf spacing is drawn separately for boots, children's shoes and flat models, with room for each model to be seen on its own. The meeting table is out of sight from the aisle; your competitors are in the same hall. A lockable back room for collection boxes and personal belongings is in most plans. The floor is usually chosen against the collection: a light timber-look floor lifts dark models, a dark carpet lifts light ones.

Which fairs we work at

In Turkey the footwear fairs take place in Istanbul, mainly in the halls of Tüyap and CNR Expo; our Istanbul page explains how we build at both venues. For Italy we have a Milan page; we work with freight and customs included. At German fairs our Aachen office supports on site. Stands we have built around a collection and a shop layout include Doqu Home at imm cologne 2023, a 28 square metre timber stand in Cologne, and Karadağ İplik 2025 Istanbul, a 72 square metre timber stand at Tüyap. Leather and fabric companies may also want our textile page.

Which stand type for a footwear stand

  • Custom timber build: 20–500 square metres, built in 2–5 days; the shop feel, recessed shelving and hidden lighting come out of this type; our first suggestion for footwear.
  • Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, built in 1–3 days; shelf modules hang on the profile system, our choice when the calendar is tight.
  • Island and corner stands: 36–800 square metres, built in 3–6 days; the collection wall goes into the corner so that it faces two aisles at once.

How we work

Send the fair name and dates, your floor area and the number of open sides; we reply within 48 hours. The first concept is free, with a 3D visual; the written budget has three options, scope listed item by item. A comfortable schedule starts 8 weeks before the fair: design approval and technical file at 6 weeks, workshop production and print files at 4 weeks, trial assembly and lighting test in the workshop at 1 week. Frequently asked

How many pairs can we show?
It depends on the plot; we draw the shelf length from the pair count. Tell us the number of models and colour options and the first concept arrives with a wall of the right length.
Will the lighting distort the colours of the collection?
The shelf lighting uses a colour temperature close to daylight, and the lighting test during the trial assembly is done with a few pairs from your collection. The light settings are finished before the stand travels.
Who builds and dismantles the stand?
Our own crew. The stand is assembled once in the workshop before it goes to the hall; after the fair we dismantle it. You box the collection and leave.
What should we send for a quote?
The fair name and dates, the floor area, the number of open sides, a floor plan if available, the number of models you will show and your brand colour codes. Add the number of meeting tables you need.
