Exhibition stand builder in Milan
Taking a stand to Milan means standing next to Italian and European competitors who are used to well-made things. We do this from Istanbul: the stand is produced in our workshop in Beylikdüzü, trucked to Italy and built at Fiera Milano by the crew that made it. What is left on your side is bringing the products and standing in front of the stand on the opening morning.
What we do at Milan fairs
Fiera Milano, with 8 halls and 345,000 square metres, is one of the largest venues we work in, and we follow two of its fairs. Salone del Mobile.Milano runs on 13–18 April 2027; for a furniture manufacturer the stand itself has to be finished like a piece of furniture, because visitors judge the edge of the stand with the same eye they use on the product. For this fair we suggest custom timber with uninterrupted surfaces and careful lighting. EMO Milano runs on 4–8 October 2027; for a company bringing a machine tool we put the floor load, the power supply and the safety of a live demonstration into the plan first. Freight, customs and local support
The stand leaves the workshop after a trial assembly and a lighting test, packed in labelled crates on a truck bound for Italy. Temporary export from Turkey and temporary import into Italy run on an ATA Carnet that we issue and follow through customs; after the fair the dismantled stand returns on the same carnet. We fill in the Fiera Milano technical file, the electricity order and, where needed, the height and rigging application. The truck leaves one week before the fair and its arrival is planned around the delivery slot of your hall. The exhibition logistics page walks through the process step by step.
Which stand type for Milan
- Custom timber build: our first suggestion for Salone del Mobile; uninterrupted surfaces, free dimensions, workshop production, 2–5 days of build-up in the hall.
- Maxima system: aluminium grid with printed panels, built in 1–3 days; on a machine-heavy stand such as EMO it is often enough for the perimeter walls.
- Island and corner stands: on plots with several open sides we place the product to face the aisle.

Frequently asked
- Do you build at the fair venues in Milan?
- Yes: Fiera Milano. Hall rules vary by fair; we submit the technical file to the organiser.
- When should a stand for Milan be ordered?
- At least eight weeks before the fair for a custom timber stand, four weeks for a maxima system stand; for builds abroad we add a week for freight and customs.
- What determines the price?
- Floor area, stand type, number of open sides, height, fittings and venue rules. The quote lists the scope item by item; we take a brief before quoting.
- Can we get a quote for the upcoming fairs in Milan?
- Yes. The link next to each fair in the calendar opens a quote form with the fair name and dates already filled in; add the floor area and stand type and send it.
- When does the truck leave for Italy, and can our products travel with it?
- The truck leaves Beylikdüzü one week before the fair. If you want your products on the same truck you send us the parts list and we add it to the carnet; for heavy or bulky items we plan the crates and the loading around them.
- Who deals with a problem at customs?
- We do. The team that issues the ATA Carnet and follows the exit from Turkey and the entry into Italy is ours, so if something is queried at the border you are not the one making the calls from Istanbul.
- Who builds and dismantles the stand at Fiera Milano?
- The crew that produced it in our workshop. Build-up and dismantling hours come from the organiser's and Fiera Milano's documents; we walk the stand with you the day before opening and hand it over in writing.
- Do we need to speak Italian in the hall?
- No. We handle the correspondence with the organiser and the venue, and during build-up week our crew on site speaks with you in Turkish or English.
