Big 5 Global exhibition stands
The contractor or architect who walks onto your stand at Big 5 wants to pick up the product and look behind it. We build the stand for that: a reinforced sample wall for facade panels and large-format tiles, a solid frame for doors and windows that open and close all day, your flooring laid as the real floor of the stand. The fair spreads across a large part of Dubai World Trade Centre's 17 halls and 105,000 square metres, so the face of the stand that shows to the aisle gets your heaviest product.
What we do for you at Big 5 Global
We draw the stand in Beylikdüzü and send a three-dimensional visual for approval. Production is in our own workshop: the steel reinforcement behind the sample wall, the door frames and the shelving are made there and load-tested at the trial assembly. Then dispatch: freight, temporary import documents and Dubai customs are ours. Your samples travel in the same shipment as the stand so that customs sees one file. We handle the technical file and the power order with the hall management; build and dismantling on the evening of 26 November are done by our own crew.
Building products are heavy, so the first step of the design is the load calculation. We draw the sample wall with the substructure and the insulation layer visible, because the visitor looks at the detail rather than the surface. For wet-room products we order the water connection from the hall management.
Stands we have built at building fairs
A manufacturer heading to Dubai usually looks first at the 153 square metre maxima stand we built for Gms at bauma 2025 in Munich; on a maxima system we produce the reinforced wall for heavy product separately. On the facade and profile side, the Alfa Metal ALUMINIUM 2025 Düsseldorf exhibition stand is a 96 square metre maxima. Which stand type for Big 5
- Custom timber build: heavy sample fixings, uninterrupted surfaces, dimensions drawn for your brand; 20–500 square metres, 2–5 build days in the hall.
- Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, built in 1–3 days; the sample wall is fixed to the grid with a reinforced panel.
- Country pavilion: when several building companies exhibit together, with a shared meeting area and kitchen; above 100 square metres, 4–10 build days.
Schedule
The fair runs 23–26 November 2026. A comfortable programme: brief, first concept and budget on 28 September; design approval and technical file on 12 October; workshop production and print on 26 October; trial assembly and dispatch on 16 November. Build in the hall during fair week, handover walk on 22 November, dismantling on the evening of 26 November. If heavy samples go by sea we bring the dispatch forward; that is decided together in the first conversation. The quote form is here and we reply within 48 hours.

- When should a stand for Big 5 Global 2026 be ordered?
- Starting by 28 September 2026 for a custom timber stand, or around 26 October 2026 for a maxima system stand, gives a comfortable schedule. For later starts we first tell you what can still be done.
- What should we send for a quote?
- The fair name and dates (filled in from this page), your floor area and number of open sides, plus a floor plan and reference images if you have them. The first concept and a written budget frame arrive within a few working days; the concept is free of charge.
- Can you hang heavy facade panels and large-format tiles on the stand?
- Yes. The sample wall is fixed to a steel-reinforced back structure, the panel weight is calculated in the first step of the design and tested with the real sample at the trial assembly. All we need is the weight of the product early on.
- Can we show doors and windows in working condition?
- You can. The product is mounted in its own frame so it opens and closes; we can leave the back of the frame visible to show the installation detail. Because it will be opened thousands of times during the fair, we reinforce the hinge side.
- Do you take our samples to Dubai?
- We do. Stand and samples go in one shipment on one temporary import file and we run the customs process. After the fair the samples return on the same document, or we hand them to your dealer in Dubai.
- How many build days, and whose crew?
- Our own crew builds: maxima in 1–3 days, timber in 2–5 days. We follow the hall's build hours and entry rules; the handover walk is done together the day before opening.
