Building Materials trade fair stands
A building materials stand shows a family rather than a single product: six colours, three thicknesses and two finishes of the same range. We build the stand for that comparison. A sample wall that lets the range be read side by side, a reinforced back structure that carries tile and stone at their real weight, an open detail that shows the section, and a table where a dealer can sit down with the catalogue. Product arrives on pallets; the forklift route and delivery slot are in the build-up programme.
What we do for you at building materials fairs
We draw the stand, produce it in our own workshop in Beylikdüzü, build it in the hall with our own crew and dismantle it when the fair closes. Graphics, print and the technical file for the hall management are ours; for fairs abroad so are the stand freight, the ATA Carnet and customs. Your product arrives palletised on your own freight, and the sample wall is sized to it before it lands.
Every product group has its own answer on the stand. An open section showing the layers for insulation and membranes; large-format hangers and the real product laid as the floor for tile and natural stone; a working frame that opens and closes for doors, windows and profiles; a sample panel lit to match the colour card for paint and coatings. A table or a closed room for dealer meetings, out of sight of the aisle, is on the plan from the beginning.
Which building materials fairs we work at
In Turkey, Yapı – Turkeybuild Istanbul at Tüyap runs on 27–30 April 2027. In Germany, BAU Munich at Messe München is on 11–15 January 2027; we know the Munich halls, having built the 153 square metre maxima stand for GMS at bauma 2025 there, and our Aachen office gives local support at German fairs. In Dubai, Big 5 Global at Dubai World Trade Centre runs on 23–26 November 2026; we ship the stand and clear customs ourselves. See also our building and construction pages.
Which stand type for a building materials stand
- Custom timber build: 20–500 square metres, built in 2–5 days. Reinforced sample wall, recessed frames and a floor laid with your own product from a single hand.
- Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, built in 1–3 days. Sample hangers fixed to the aluminium grid; the GMS stand was this system.
- Island and corner stands: 36–800 square metres, built in 3–6 days. The sample wall goes on the corner that faces two aisles at once.
How we work
Fair name, dates, floor area and number of open sides; within 48 hours you get a free first concept in three dimensions and a written budget in three options, scope itemised. Start 8 weeks before the fair: design approval and technical file at 6 weeks, workshop production at 4, trial assembly and lighting test at 1. Frequently asked
- Can you hang large-format tile and natural stone on the wall?
- Yes. There is a reinforced structure behind the sample wall, and the panel weight is calculated from the sizes in your brief. Flooring products are laid as the real floor of the stand.
- Who takes the stand to Dubai for Big 5 Global?
- We do. The stand goes through a trial assembly in the workshop, then travels to Dubai World Trade Centre; we clear customs and our crew is in the hall for build-up week. Your palletised samples travel separately on their own export papers.
- Can we show doors and windows in working order?
- Yes. Doors and windows are mounted in their own frames so they open and close, and the frame is reinforced knowing it will be worked all day for the length of the fair.
- When should we start?
- For a custom timber build, 8 weeks before the fair; for a maxima system, 4 weeks. At a busy fair such as Turkeybuild we track the hall’s build-up schedule early, and Munich and Dubai add transit time. If a job comes in late we first tell you what can still be done.
