When should a stand for EMO Milan 2027 be ordered?

Starting by 9 August 2027 for a custom timber stand, or around 6 September 2027 for a maxima system stand, gives a comfortable schedule. For later starts we first tell you what can still be done.

What should we send for a quote?

The fair name and dates (filled in from this page), your floor area and number of open sides, plus a floor plan and reference images if you have them. The first concept and a written budget frame arrive within a few working days; the concept is free of charge.

Can you place a heavy machine tool on the stand?

Yes. We ask for the weight and footprint of the machine and file the floor load declaration with Fiera Milano ourselves. Where needed we draw a reinforced platform under the machine; the flooring around it is laid after the machine is in position.

The machine will run on the stand. Who connects power and compressed air?

We order the power rating and the air supply from the hall management and place the connection points next to the machine on the plan. The hall's authorised contractor makes the connection; we prepare the cable ducts and the concealed runs.

Does the build crew come from Turkey?

Yes. The crew that assembled the stand in the workshop builds it in Milan as well. We follow the hall's build hours and entry rules; you arrive for the handover walk the day before opening.

Can you print the graphics in Italian too?

We can. You supply the texts, we prepare the print files and print in Beylikdüzü; the graphics travel with the stand on the lorry. We also keep a plan for local reprinting in Milan in case a mistake turns up on site.

EMO Milan exhibition stands

The visitor who steps onto your stand at EMO wants to see the machine running, so we build the stand around the machine. Its weight, its power and compressed air demand and the space the operator needs are fixed on the very first line of the plan. Fiera Milano has 8 halls and 345,000 square metres; at EMO your neighbours run machines as well, so we draw your stand with noise and crowd flow in mind.

What we do for you at EMO Milan

We draw the stand in Beylikdüzü and send you a three-dimensional visual for approval. Production happens in our own workshop; before anything travels to Milan the stand is assembled once in the workshop so that lighting and graphics are checked in place. Then the lorry is loaded: freight, the ATA Carnet and customs are ours. We file the technical documents with Fiera Milano, the power and compressed air orders and the floor load declaration included. Our own crew builds the stand and dismantles it when the fair closes.

If your machine travels with a separate forwarder, we coordinate the hall entry slot and the forklift with your forwarder. Once the machine is in position we complete the flooring and the guard rail around it. We plan this sequence from the start so that no lorry waits at the gate on build day.

Which stand type for EMO

Custom timber build: a reinforced platform under the machine, uninterrupted surfaces, 20–500 square metres; 2–5 build days in the hall.
Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, printed panels on an aluminium grid; built in 1–3 days, our preference when the build window at EMO is tight.
Island and corner stands: machine in the centre, meeting room at the back; 36–800 square metres, 3–6 days.

Schedule

The fair runs 4–8 October 2027. A comfortable programme looks like this: brief, first concept and budget on 9 August; design approval and technical file on 23 August; workshop production and print files on 6 September; trial assembly, lighting test and dispatch on 27 September. Build in the hall during fair week, handover walk the day before opening, dismantling on the evening of 8 October. If you start later we tell you first what can still be done, then run an accelerated programme. Write the fair name and your floor area into the quote form and we reply within 48 hours.
