Iplik Istanbul Yarn Fair exhibition stands
The buyer who walks onto your stand at Iplik Istanbul picks up a cone, stretches the yarn between two fingers and holds the shade card up to the light. We draw the stand around those three movements: a cone wall at eye level, a sample library with drawers and a meeting room with a door that closes for negotiation. The stand is produced in our own workshop in Beylikdüzü, built at Tüyap by our own crew and taken down when the fair closes.
What we do for you at Iplik Istanbul
The fair takes place at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, which has 13 halls and 120,000 square metres of covered space. Tüyap and our workshop are on the same side of Istanbul, a short drive from Beylikdüzü to Büyükçekmece. The technical file, the electricity and rigging applications, the graphics and the print are ours; you bring your cones and your team.
On a yarn stand colour has to look right. The cone wall gets lighting close to daylight colour temperature, and we test it with your shade card during the trial assembly at the workshop. If you show fancy yarns we frame the woven sample on a panel; if you sell raw yarn we show the cones in volume, stacked like a pallet. In both cases a drawer system goes into the plan so the buyer can take a sample away.
Stands we have built at this fair

Which stand type
- Custom timber build: 20 to 500 square metres, built in the hall in 2–5 days. The route when the cone wall must be uninterrupted and the surfaces painted in your brand colour; the Karadağ İplik stand is this type.
- Maxima system: 12 to 200 square metres, built in 1–3 days. Our choice for small plots and tight calendars.
- Island and corner stands: from 36 square metres, on plots with two or three open sides we turn the cone wall towards the aisle.
Timeline
Iplik Istanbul runs from 17 to 19 March 2027. A comfortable programme starts on 20 January with the brief, the 3D visual and the budget; design approval and the technical file follow on 3 February; workshop production and print files start on 17 February; the trial assembly and lighting test at the workshop take place on 10 March. Build at Tüyap during fair week, the handover walk on 16 March and dismantling on the evening of 19 March. Put your floor area and the number of open sides into the quote form; we reply within 48 hours.

- What should we send for a quote?
- The fair name and dates (filled in from this page), your floor area and number of open sides, plus a floor plan and reference images if you have them. The first concept and a written budget frame arrive within a few working days; the concept is free of charge.
- How much weight can the cone wall carry?
- On a timber stand the cone wall is fixed to a steel-reinforced back structure; at the quote stage we ask for the total weight going on the wall and draw the shelving for it. For pallet-style stacks we build a separate platform on the floor.
- We want a closed meeting room. Is the height limit at Tüyap a problem?
- We follow the hall regulations for you. The room height and the ceiling are drawn to the hall limit and the technical file is sent to the hall management by us. If the room needs its own electricity or ventilation we add it to the application.
- Who builds and dismantles the stand?
- Our own crew. The stand goes through a trial assembly in the workshop before it travels to Tüyap. The day before opening we walk the stand together and hand it over with a written guarantee; on the closing evening we dismantle it as well.
- What do you do so that our shade card looks right?
- The cone wall and the sample table get lighting close to daylight; warm light is used only in the seating corner. If you bring your shade card to the trial assembly we adjust the lighting together.
