Exhibition stands at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center

The custom timber exhibition stand we built for Yeniler Etiket at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center: black fascia, timber-clad display walls, lit shelving and meeting tables.

Our workshop is in Beylikdüzü and so is Tüyap. A stand goes from workshop to hall without leaving the district, so a missing part or a misprinted panel in the middle of the build is solved back at the workshop the same day.

Building in the Tüyap halls: our experience

Tüyap Fair and Congress Center stands at the Gürpınar junction in Beylikdüzü, with 13 halls and 120,000 square metres of covered space. We know which hall loads from where and how build days and the dismantling night go; the stand is broken down and the lorry loaded with that in mind. The technical file, power and rigging requests and the correspondence with the hall management are ours; you arrive with your team on opening morning.

All of them are produced in our Beylikdüzü workshop; the timber stands go through a trial assembly there before they reach the hall.

Each fair page has a preparation timeline. In October and again in March the fairs follow each other at weekly intervals and the workshop fills early; for those months an early brief helps.

Which stand type

At Tüyap the right type usually depends on the build window in the hall and on what you will show on the walls. The custom timber build is the type we apply from 20 to 500 square metres, with uninterrupted surfaces and free dimensions, built in the hall in 2–5 days. The maxima system is the aluminium profile grid we use from 12 to 200 square metres; it goes up in 1–3 days and is our first suggestion when the calendar is tight. On plots with two or three open sides the orientation decision from our island and corner stand page is taken at the start. Fill in the quote form with the fair name, floor area and number of open sides; the first concept comes free within 48 hours.

Frequently asked

How many days should we allow for the build at Tüyap?
A custom timber build takes 2–5 days in the hall, a maxima system 1–3 days. We take the build days from the organiser’s technical file and plan around that window. Because the workshop is in the same district, even a last part arrives on the build day.
Who deals with hall rules, power and rigging requests?
We do. The technical file goes to the hall management from us; the power connection point, the rigging request and the height permit are prepared together with the stand design. All you pass on is the plot information from your participation contract.
Who dismantles the stand after the fair, and how long does it take?
Our own crew. We enter the hall on the closing evening, take the stand down and load it onto our lorry; you collect your products and catalogues and leave.
Can you put a heavy machine or a long coil on the stand?
Yes. We ask for the weight and dimensions of the product at quote stage and draw the structure and the floor accordingly. On yarn and pipe jobs the product itself is the main element and the design is built around it.
When should we start?
Starting 8 weeks before the fair gives a comfortable schedule for both types; because the workshop time for a maxima system is short, we can still catch jobs that come in later. If you come later we first tell you what can still be done, then run an accelerated programme.
Which halls have you built in at Tüyap?
We have worked in most of the halls at Tüyap Beylikdüzü, and since our workshop is also in Beylikdüzü we can bring a missing part the same day. Ceiling height, rigging permits and vehicle access hours differ between halls, so we read the technical regulations afresh for each fair and plan the build for that hall.
