Food and Beverage trade fair stands
A food stand lives or dies at the tasting counter. That is where we start: a wipe-clean worktop, a place and a power line for the chiller, a sink connection, and cool lighting that does not warm the samples. Anuga runs for five days, so the counter is drawn to be wiped down morning and evening for five days, not to look good on the first one.
What we do for you at food and drink fairs
We draw the stand, produce it in our own workshop in Beylikdüzü, build it in the hall with our own crew and dismantle it when the fair closes. The water and power application goes to the hall management from us, with the line under the counter, the chiller socket and the sink drain already marked on the technical drawing. Graphics and print are ours; for fairs abroad so are the stand freight, the ATA Carnet and customs. Your product arrives separately on its own food paperwork, and the stand is ready before it does.
The part nobody sees saves a food stand. Behind the counter we keep a closed service area for the bin, the fridge and the washing-up, so the visitor side stays clean. For drinks brands we backlight the bottle wall; the packaging colour does as much work as the liquid. For deli and dairy the chiller faces the staff side, so an open door does not blow cold air into the aisle.
Which food fairs we work at
Koelnmesse in Cologne hosts two of them: Anuga for finished products on 9–13 October 2027 and Anuga FoodTec for food machinery and processing on 23–26 February 2027. We know Cologne; in 2023 we built the 28 square metre timber stand for Doqu Home at imm cologne, and at German fairs our Aachen office gives local support. In Dubai, Gulfood Manufacturing runs at Dubai World Trade Centre on 3–5 November 2026; we ship the stand there and clear it ourselves.
Which stand type for a food stand
- Custom timber build: 20–500 square metres, built in 2–5 days. The easiest route to a built-in chiller, a bar that is one piece with the counter and a closed service area.
- Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, built in 1–3 days. Printed panels carry the packaging artwork at large scale; the counter is produced separately and fixed to the grid.
- Modular stand: 9–150 square metres, built in 1–2 days. For joint participations or a small plot.
How we work
Fair name, dates, floor area and number of open sides; within 48 hours you get a free first concept in three dimensions and a written budget in three options, scope itemised. Starting 8 weeks before the fair gives design approval and the technical file at 6 weeks, workshop production at 4, trial assembly and lighting test at 1. Frequently asked
- Who arranges water and power on the stand?
- We do. The application goes to the hall management together with the technical file, with the water, drain and power points under the counter marked on the plan. Give us the power rating of the chiller or oven in the brief and we apply for the right supply.
- Is the tasting counter suitable for food hygiene?
- The worktop is a wipe-clean material without joints, and the visitor side is separated from the service side. The sink and the bin stay closed off on the service side. The organiser’s rules on serving food are tracked in our technical file.
- How does the stand get to Dubai?
- It goes through a trial assembly in our workshop, then travels to Dubai World Trade Centre; we handle customs and our crew is in the hall for build-up week. Your food samples travel separately on their own import papers.
- When should we start?
- For a custom timber build, 8 weeks before the fair; for a maxima system, 4 weeks. Cologne and Dubai add transit time, so stay on the early side. If a job comes in later we first tell you what can still be done.
