FSB Cologne exhibition stands

The Cemer Kent Ekipmanları stand: a spherical climbing unit set on sand, a world-map brand wall behind it and meeting tables in front.

The municipal officer or landscape architect who walks onto your stand at FSB wants to climb the play unit, step on the rubber surface and hold the edge of the bench. We build the stand for that: fixings and anchors for tall product, real surfacing on the floor, a room at the back where a project can be discussed sitting down. We know this fair; we built the 105 square metre timber stand for Cemer Kent Ekipmanları at FSB Cologne. The venue has 11 halls and 284,000 square metres.

What we do for you at FSB Cologne

We draw the stand in Beylikdüzü and send a three-dimensional visual for approval. Production is in our own workshop; the stand is assembled once in the workshop before it travels to Cologne, and if you bring your product we test the placement there. Then the lorry: freight, the ATA Carnet and customs are ours, and your play unit can travel on the same lorry as the stand. We handle the technical file, the power order and the height declaration with Koelnmesse. Our Aachen office is close to Cologne; on-site support during fair week comes from there. Our own crew builds the stand and dismantles it on the evening of 29 October.

Playground product is tall, so the first question is the height limit of the hall; we confirm it with the hall management and change the layout if the product exceeds it. Our Cologne page explains how we operate in the city.

Stands we have built at this fair

The stand we built for Cemer Kent Ekipmanları at FSB Cologne: a 105 square metre timber build, produced in Beylikdüzü and built at Koelnmesse by our own crew. At the same venue, the Doqu Home imm cologne 2023 Cologne exhibition stand, a 28 square metre timber build. Our playground equipment page lists further work in the sector.

Which stand type for FSB

  • Custom timber build: the Cemer stand was this type; reinforced floor for product anchors, seamless surfaces, 20–500 square metres, 2–5 build days in the hall.
  • Island and corner stands: the play unit goes in the centre, visible from four sides; 36–800 square metres, 3–6 build days.
  • Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, built in 1–3 days; for smaller stands that rely on product imagery.

Schedule

The fair runs 26–29 October 2027. A comfortable programme: brief, first concept and budget on 31 August; design approval and technical file on 14 September; workshop production and print on 28 September; trial assembly, lighting test and dispatch on 19 October. Build in the hall during fair week, handover walk on 25 October, dismantling on the evening of 29 October. If your product is large we ask you to bring it to the trial assembly; the anchor points are fixed there. Write the fair name and your floor area into the quote form; we reply within 48 hours.

Frequently asked

When and where is FSB Cologne 2027?
FSB Cologne 2027 takes place 26–29 October 2027 at Koelnmesse (Cologne). Dates come from the organiser’s official site; this page is updated if they change.
When should a stand for FSB Cologne 2027 be ordered?
Starting by 31 August 2027 for a custom timber stand, or around 28 September 2027 for a maxima system stand, gives a comfortable schedule. For later starts we first tell you what can still be done.
Have you built at FSB Cologne before?
Yes; 1 of our stands are listed on this page. Each project states the year, floor area and stand type; we know the hall rules and build hours from that work.
What should we send for a quote?
The fair name and dates (filled in from this page), your floor area and number of open sides, plus a floor plan and reference images if you have them. The first concept and a written budget frame arrive within a few working days; the concept is free of charge.
Can you anchor the play unit to the stand?
Yes. We ask for the anchoring plan of the product and reinforce the stand floor accordingly. Because visitors will climb the unit, the fixing is tested with the real product at the trial assembly.
Will the height limit be a problem?
We confirm the height limit with Koelnmesse and declare the product height in the technical file. For product that exceeds the limit we change the layout or suggest the lower model.
Can the rubber surfacing be laid as the real floor of the stand?
Yes. On stands of this kind the surfacing product becomes the stand floor and visitors see it under their feet; the edges are finished with a threshold profile, and after the fair the product is lifted and brought back.
Who builds the stand, and how many days does it take?
Our own crew; a timber build 2–5 days, an island stand 3–6 days. We follow the hall's build hours, and our Aachen office is in Cologne during fair week.
