LIGNA 2027 stand builder

General view of the Emintosun stand at Ligna 2025 in Hanover: a 182 sqm maxima system build.

A machinery manufacturer's stand at LIGNA is drawn around the machines first and the brand second. In 2025 we built the 182 square metre maxima stand for Emintosun in Hanover. On a machinery stand the layout, the power requirement and the chip extraction points belong in the first drawing; graphics and meeting area settle around them. We produce the stand in Beylikdüzü and take it to Germany ourselves; the fair runs every two years, which gives a comfortable lead time.

What we do for you at LIGNA

We draw the stand, produce it in the workshop, run the trial assembly in Beylikdüzü and dispatch it. Fair logistics are ours: freight, ATA Carnet, customs on both sides, the technical file and the hall applications at Deutsche Messe. Our Aachen office is your contact on site in build week. When the fair closes we dismantle the stand ourselves.

On a machinery stand the floor and the power are the design. We take each machine's weight, footprint and power rating at quote stage, produce a reinforced platform and run the technical file correspondence with the hall for power and any other connection. A live demonstration means chips and noise, so we draw a clearance for visitors to watch from a safe distance and a wall behind the machine for the finished workpieces. Forklift delivery of the machines goes into the build plan as a day and an hour.

Stands we have built at this fair

In 2025 we built the 182 square metre maxima stand for Emintosun, our largest project in Hanover. In the same halls we built for Genç Bombe, Öz Metal and Tekno Vals at HANNOVER MESSE. Our sector page is woodworking machinery; for the sector's fairs in Turkey see WoodTech Istanbul and Intermob. The Deutsche Messe Hanover page has the hall information and the other fairs there.

Which stand type

  • Maxima system: used for Emintosun on 182 square metres; loads compactly, built in the hall in 1–3 days, machine platforms in timber.
  • Custom timber build: for a seamless brand surface and free dimensions; produced in the workshop, built in 2–5 days.
  • Island and corner stands: machines on the open sides, meeting room and kitchen against the closed one.

Timeline for the 2027 edition

The next fair runs 10–14 May 2027. Trial assembly and dispatch fall on the same day, allowing for the lorry's days on the road. Brief, 3D visual and budget on 15 March 2027; design approval and technical file by 29 March; workshop production and print files by 12 April; trial assembly and dispatch on 3 May; build in Hanover in fair week, handover walk on 9 May and dismantling on the evening of 14 May. If the machines travel on a separate lorry we plan the order in which the lorries enter the hall. Send the fair name, floor area and number of open sides through the quote form; we reply within 48 hours, first concept free.

Frequently asked

When and where is LIGNA 2027?
LIGNA 2027 takes place 10–14 May 2027 at Deutsche Messe Hanover (Hanover). Dates come from the organiser’s official site; this page is updated if they change.
When should a stand for LIGNA 2027 be ordered?
Starting by 15 March 2027 for a custom timber stand, or around 12 April 2027 for a maxima system stand, gives a comfortable schedule. For later starts we first tell you what can still be done.
Have you built at LIGNA before?
Yes; 1 of our stands are listed on this page. Each project states the year, floor area and stand type; we know the hall rules and build hours from that work.
What should we send for a quote?
The fair name and dates (filled in from this page), your floor area and number of open sides, plus a floor plan and reference images if you have them. The first concept and a written budget frame arrive within a few working days; the concept is free of charge.
Can we run our machines on the stand, and what about chips and noise?
Yes. We take each machine's power and connection requirements at quote stage and run the technical file correspondence with the hall management ourselves. The chip extraction point is cut into the platform in advance and the viewing clearance is in the plan; we follow the hall management's safety rules.
How are the floor and the forklift planned for a heavy machine?
We produce a reinforced platform to the weight and footprint. We arrange the forklift slot and the entry gate with the hall management; the build plan states the day and hour the machine arrives.
Do you take the stand to Germany yourselves?
Yes. Freight, ATA Carnet and customs on both sides are ours; the stand goes from Beylikdüzü to Hanover under one contract. Transport of your machines is folded into the same plan.
Who builds the stand, and who do we call during the fair?
Our own crew travelling from Beylikdüzü builds and dismantles it; our Aachen office is your contact inside Germany. We walk the stand with you the day before opening and the handover comes with a written guarantee.
