Exhibition stand builders in Munich

General view of the Gms stand at the fair 2025 in Münih: a 153 sqm maxima system build.

Our clearest example of taking a stand to Munich is bauma 2025: a 153 square metre maxima stand for GMS, produced in Beylikdüzü, trucked to Messe München, built by our own crew and dismantled when the fair closed. At a construction machinery fair the stand has to be solid enough not to be dwarfed by the machine and open enough to show it, and that is how we draw for this kind of fair. The same workflow applies to BAU and Intersolar Europe.

What we do at Munich fairs

Messe München has 18 halls and 200,000 square metres. The calendar has BAU Munich 11–15 January 2027, Intersolar Europe 8–10 June 2027 and bauma 3–9 April 2028. For building product, solar and construction machinery companies we design the stand, submit a three-dimensional visual for approval, produce and trial-assemble it in the workshop, hand it to freight, build it in the hall and hand it over with a written guarantee.

On a construction machinery stand we place the machine on the open side with room for visitors to walk around it; the meeting area and the kitchen go against the back wall, and the top graphic is hung to read above machine height. Photographs are on the projects page, and the common solutions for stands of this kind are described on our construction and construction machinery pages. Building product manufacturers preparing for BAU will find the relevant approach on the building page.

Freight, customs and local support

We arrange the road freight, the export paperwork and the ATA Carnet where needed; each is a separate line in the quote. Messe München's vehicle access hours and build schedule come with the organiser's file, and we follow that file. Our Aachen office provides support on the German side and is on site in fair week. Your machines or samples can travel on the same truck as the stand; the details are on the exhibition logistics page.

Exhibitors from outside Turkey use the same route. The stand is produced in Istanbul, the freight and paperwork are ours, and you have one contact in English from the first drawing to the dismantling.

Which stand type for Munich

  • Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, 1–3 days to build. The GMS stand is this type; the freight volume is small and even a large plot goes up quickly.
  • Custom timber build: 20–500 square metres, 2–5 days to build. For fairs such as BAU where the product is shown on the wall and needs an uninterrupted surface and heavy sample fixings.
  • Island and corner stands: from 36 square metres, 3–6 days to build; for open plots at bauma where the machine is shown from all four sides.

What determines the price

Our quote lists the scope item by item; we take a brief before quoting, because two stands of the same size can differ a lot.

  • Floor area and the number of open sides
  • Stand type: custom timber or maxima system
  • Height, suspended ceiling and rigging needs
  • Fittings such as lighting, screens and furniture
  • Venue rules and build hours
  • Freight distance and customs

Logistics note

For installations abroad, freight, ATA Carnet and customs are handled by Akros; the stand is produced in the Istanbul workshop and shipped to the hall.

Frequently asked

Do you build at the fair venues in Munich?
Yes: Messe München. Hall rules vary by fair; we submit the technical file to the organiser.
When should a stand for Munich be ordered?
At least eight weeks before the fair for a custom timber stand, four weeks for a maxima system stand; for builds abroad we add a week for freight and customs.
What determines the price?
Floor area, stand type, number of open sides, height, fittings and venue rules. The quote lists the scope item by item; we take a brief before quoting.
Can we get a quote for the upcoming fairs in Munich?
Yes. The link next to each fair in the calendar opens a quote form with the fair name and dates already filled in; add the floor area and stand type and send it.
Can you put a construction machine inside the stand?
Yes. The 153 square metre stand we built for GMS at bauma 2025 is a job of that scale. You give us the weight and dimensions in the quote request; we plan the floor load, the machine entry sequence and the build schedule against the hall management's file.
Who handles customs and freight?
We do. Export paperwork for the stand, road freight and the ATA Carnet where needed are part of the quote. The invoice and packing list for your products are prepared together with you, and our Aachen office provides support on the German side.
Does your crew come to Munich?
Building and dismantling are done by our own crew from Istanbul. Local support in fair week sits with our Aachen office. You arrive the day before opening and walk the stand with us.
When should we start for BAU in January?
Starting 8 weeks before the fair, in November, gives a comfortable schedule, with freight days included. Put the fair name, your floor area and the number of open sides into the quote form and we come back with a first concept within 48 hours.
