IFA Berlin exhibition stands
On an electronics stand every product is switched on and every one has a cable. When we draw for IFA the first job is to make the cable disappear: power running inside the product tables, connections gathered behind the screen wall, a table height at which a visitor can pick a product up and put it down safely. We produce the stand in Beylikdüzü and take it to Berlin ourselves.
What we do for you at IFA Berlin
We draw the stand, produce it in the workshop, run the trial assembly in Beylikdüzü and load the lorry. Fair logistics are ours: freight, ATA Carnet, customs on both sides, the technical file and the hall applications at Messe Berlin. Our Aachen office supports us on the German side and is your contact in build week. When the fair closes we dismantle the stand ourselves.
Messe Berlin has 26 halls and 160,000 square metres; your hall decides the lorry gate and the build slot, and we plan both from the start. The product is small but numerous, so we split the tables into groups and give each group its own light. The rigging and electrical applications for the screen wall are filed with the hall by us; the content on the screens is yours, the mounting and cabling ours. A closed room for press and dealer meetings and a lockable back room are our standard recommendation here.
Stands we have built at this fair
We do not yet have a published IFA project. Which stand type
- Maxima system: loads compactly on the lorry, built in Berlin in 1–3 days; product tables and the screen wall are added in timber.
- Custom timber build: when the brand surface has to be seamless and on large plots; produced in the workshop, built in 2–5 days.
- Island and corner stands: product tables on the open sides, meeting room and back room against the closed one.
Timeline
Trial assembly and dispatch fall on the same day, allowing for the lorry's days on the road. A comfortable schedule starts 8 weeks before the fair with the brief, the 3D visual and the budget; design approval and technical file at 6 weeks; workshop production and print files at 4 weeks; trial assembly and dispatch at 1 week; build at Messe Berlin in fair week, handover walk the day before opening, dismantling at the close. IFA runs every year at the beginning of September; the easiest route is to talk early about the next edition. Frequently asked
- What should we send for a quote?
- The fair name and dates (filled in from this page), your floor area and number of open sides, plus a floor plan and reference images if you have them. The first concept and a written budget frame arrive within a few working days; the concept is free of charge.
- Do you take the stand to Berlin yourselves, and what happens at customs?
- Yes. Freight, ATA Carnet and customs on both sides are ours; the stand goes from Beylikdüzü to Messe Berlin under one contract. If you want your products to travel on the same lorry we plan that at quote stage.
- Who sorts out the power for a screen wall and dozens of running products?
- We do. We take the product and screen list at quote stage, calculate the total load and file the electrical application with the hall management. Cables run inside the tables and behind the screen wall; at the trial assembly we switch everything on.
- Who builds the stand at Messe Berlin?
- Our own crew travelling from Beylikdüzü builds and dismantles it, with our Aachen office supporting from inside Germany. Hall rules, build hours, height and rigging approvals are handled by us in correspondence with the hall management.
- Can we have a lockable area for our products on the stand?
- Yes, and on electronics stands we always suggest one: a back room with a door and a lock, sized to the number of products you bring.
