Furniture trade fair stands

General view of the Doqu Home stand at imm cologne 2023 in Cologne: a 28 sqm custom timber build.

On a furniture stand the product is the show and the stand’s only job is to give it the right room. We draw the wall colour, the floor and the lighting to your fabric and to the tone of your timber. How far a sofa group sits back from the aisle, which lamp burns at the bedhead, in what order the desks line up on an office furniture stand: all of that is settled in the first week of design.

What we do for you at furniture fairs

We draw the stand, produce it in our own workshop in Beylikdüzü, build it in the hall with our own crew and dismantle it when the fair closes. Flooring, walls, lighting, graphics and print and the technical file for the hall management are ours. For fairs abroad we also run the stand freight, the ATA Carnet and customs; your furniture arrives on its own export papers, and its delivery slot and placement are written into our build-up programme.

Lighting is the conversation we have most often on a furniture stand. Upholstery reads one colour under warm light and another under cool; we decide which one with your fabric swatches on the table. The floor follows the product too, because a solid timber table looks different on carpet than on parquet. For office furniture we keep the walls low so the desks are visible from the aisle. For bedroom and living ranges we build the feeling of a room the visitor will sit down in and stay.

Which furniture fairs we work at

In Istanbul at Tüyap, the Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF) runs on 19–23 January 2027 and the components and machinery side, Intermob, on 17–20 September 2026. Koelnmesse in Cologne has three: imm cologne on 19–22 January 2027, interzum on 11–14 May 2027 and ORGATEC for office furniture on 27–30 October 2026. In 2023 we built the 28 square metre timber stand for Doqu Home at imm cologne; at German fairs our Aachen office gives local support. In Milan, Salone del Mobile.Milano is at Fiera Milano on 13–18 April 2027. IIFF and imm cologne fall in the same week; if you show at both, we plan the two stands on separate schedules.

Which stand type for a furniture stand

  • Custom timber build: 20–500 square metres, built in 2–5 days. The Doqu Home stand was one of these; walls, niches and floor come from a single hand.
  • Island and corner stands: 36–800 square metres, built in 3–6 days. Seating groups arranged like a showroom that reads from all four sides, with a closed room in the middle for dealer meetings.

How we work

Fair name, dates, floor area and number of open sides; within 48 hours you get a free first concept in three dimensions and a written budget in three options, scope itemised. Start 8 weeks before the fair: design approval and technical file at 6 weeks, workshop production at 4, trial assembly and lighting test at 1. We want to see your fabric and veneer samples before design approval, because the lighting is chosen to them. The quote form is here.

Frequently asked

Who moves the furniture into the hall and onto the stand?
Product freight is yours; placing it on the stand is part of our build-up programme. We take the door and aisle dimensions from the hall’s technical file and agree the delivery slot for large pieces with the hall management.
Who handles freight and customs for Cologne and Milan?
We run the stand freight, the ATA Carnet and customs. Your furniture travels separately on its own export papers, and we time the two loads to reach the hall on the same day in the build-up programme.
Can we choose the floor of the stand?
Yes. Carpet, laminate, parquet-look flooring or your own flooring product; whatever suits what stands on it.
What should we send for a quote?
Fair name and dates, floor area, number of open sides and the product groups you will show. Add an image of your fabric and veneer range if you have one; we draw the lighting and the wall colour to it. The first concept is free.

Let us build your stand at your next furniture fair
