When should a stand for ORGATEC 2026 be ordered?

Starting by 1 September 2026 for a custom timber stand, or around 29 September 2026 for a maxima system stand, gives a comfortable schedule. For later starts we first tell you what can still be done.

What should we send for a quote?

The fair name and dates (filled in from this page), your floor area and number of open sides, plus a floor plan and reference images if you have them. The first concept and a written budget frame arrive within a few working days; the concept is free of charge.

Do you transport our furniture together with the stand?

Yes. The stand and the furniture leave on the same lorry under an ATA Carnet, travel to Cologne and return on the same carnet after the fair. The papers for the furniture stay on your side, and we list together which document has to be ready when.

Can you run power to every height-adjustable desk?

We can. The number and position of the desks are set in the plan, a cable duct runs under the floor and we file the electricity application for the total load in the technical file.

Who builds the stand in Germany?

Our own crew travelling from Turkey; with the Aachen office close to Cologne, on-site support is quick. A custom timber build takes 2–5 days in the hall; we place the furniture together with you during the handover walk and hand over with a written guarantee.

What does Koelnmesse require for acoustic pods and closed rooms?

We follow the hall regulations for you. Closed volumes, ceilings and the height limit are drawn in the technical file by us and sent to the hall management. We pass the approval on when it arrives.

ORGATEC exhibition stands

At ORGATEC the product is the furniture itself; visitors sit in the chair, raise the desk and step into the acoustic pod. The stand's job is to stay out of the product's way and give it a real office floor. We do that with a seamless floor finish, neutral walls and lighting that does not distort the product. The stand is produced in our workshop in Beylikdüzü, sent to Cologne by lorry under an ATA Carnet with customs handled by us, and built at Koelnmesse by our own crew.

What we do for you at ORGATEC

The fair takes place at Koelnmesse, which has 11 halls and 284,000 square metres of covered space. Our Aachen office is close to Cologne; the German-language correspondence with the hall management, the crew access and the on-site support are run from there. The technical file, the electricity and rigging applications, the graphics and the print are ours; freight is part of our exhibition logistics service. Your furniture is planned on the same lorry, travelling out and back with the stand.

On an office furniture stand we set the product up like an office: work area, meeting corner, lounge corner and acoustic pod as separate zones, each with its own lighting. If you show height-adjustable desks we run power to every desk; for acoustic pods we follow the hall's sound regulations. So that fabric and surface colours look right, the lighting is chosen with your product during the trial assembly at the workshop.

Which stand type

Custom timber build: 20 to 500 square metres, built in 2–5 days. The right type for a seamless floor and painted walls at a furniture fair; our first recommendation at ORGATEC.
Island and corner stands: from 36 square metres, built in 3–6 days. For brands that want the office layout visible from all four sides.
Double-decker stand: from 60 square metres, built in 4–8 days. For those who want the meeting rooms upstairs and the whole ground floor left to the product.

Timeline

ORGATEC runs from 27 to 30 October 2026. For this year's fair the 8-week start of the comfortable programme falls right about now; allowing for the freight week, the programme is design approval and the technical file to Cologne by 15 September, workshop production and print files on 29 September, the trial assembly and the loading of the lorry on 20 October. Build in the hall during fair week, the handover walk on 26 October and dismantling on the evening of 30 October. Put your floor area and the product groups you plan to show into the quote form; we reply within 48 hours.
