Machinery trade fair stands
On a machinery stand the sequence matters: the machine enters the hall first and the stand is built around it. We draw the plan that way round. The footprint, weight and service clearance of the machine are the first things on the drawing; walls, meeting area and graphics fit into what is left. If the machine will run during the fair, the power circuit, compressed air and, where needed, the chip extraction connection are written into the technical file from the start.
What we do for you at machinery fairs
We draw the stand, produce it in our own workshop in Beylikdüzü, build it in the hall with our own crew and take it down when the fair closes. The machine’s entry, its weight and the power and air needs go into the technical file; the correspondence with the hall management is ours. Your machine is set in place on the first build day, the stand closes around it from day two, and on the last day your technicians start it up. For fairs abroad we run the freight, the ATA Carnet and customs; for Germany our Aachen office gives local support on the German side.
A stand is easily crushed next to a large machine. We balance the wall height against the machine, draw the brand wall high enough to be read from the aisle and move the meeting area to the corner furthest from the noise.
Which machinery fairs we work at
Our two large jobs in this sector are in Germany. In 2025 we built the 182 square metre maxima stand for Emintosun at LIGNA in Hanover and, the same year, the 153 square metre maxima stand for GMS at bauma in Munich; the photographs of both are on their project pages. LIGNA is next on 10–14 May 2027 and bauma on 3–9 April 2028. Which stand type for a machinery stand
- Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, 1–3 days to build in the hall. The Emintosun and GMS stands were both maxima; it closes quickly around the machine and leaves the build day to the machine itself.
- Island and corner stands: 36–800 square metres, 3–6 days. To place the machine in the centre, approachable from all sides, with the working area visible from the aisle.
- Double-decker stand: 60–600 square metres, 4–8 days. Machine below, a meeting room above and away from the noise; our suggestion on large plots.
How we work
Send the fair name and dates, your floor area, the number of open sides and the dimensions and weights of the machines you will bring; we reply within 48 hours. The first concept is free and three-dimensional; the written budget frame has three options with the scope listed item by item. A comfortable schedule starts 8 weeks before the fair: design approval and technical file at 6 weeks, workshop production at 4 weeks, trial assembly at 1 week. The quote form is here.

Frequently asked
- Does the machine go in first, or the stand?
- The machine. The first build day is reserved for bringing it in and positioning it, and the stand closes around it from day two. If the machine arrives late we leave the walls open and close them on the last day.
- Who arranges power and compressed air for a running machine?
- We do. The power and air ratings of the machine go into the technical file and we request the connections from the hall management; we follow them until they reach the stand, and your technicians make the final connection to the machine.
- What do you need for the floor load?
- The weight of the machine and the size of its feet. We pass it to the hall management through the technical file and, where needed, draw steel plates that spread the load.
- Do you take the machine to Germany as well?
- We take the stand; machine freight is planned in the same programme, and the ATA Carnet and customs paperwork run together with the stand. Details are on the international exhibition stand page.
